Roots/Ruin
This series of collages explores the quiet yet powerful reclamation of abandoned spaces by nature. Each piece depicts a different room of a home overtaken by various natural elements, highlighting the resilience and persistence of the natural world when left undisturbed. Through layered textures and imagery, I aim to evoke a sense of both decay and renewal, inviting viewers to reflect on the passage of time and the transient nature of human presence. These works celebrate the beauty in nature’s ability to reclaim and transform what is forgotten.
