Releasing the Plaster Mold

After the plaster dries over the clay, it is able to be removed along the wall of the divider. Wedges of wood are carefully placed along the divider and hit with a mallet, separating the mold into two sections. Once the plaster is released, it is able to be cleaned and prepped for casting.
